Amazing film library collection which was perfect on the only rainy day we encountered. We will be back!”

“We have been at Chateau la Tour 3 times and absolutely enjoyed it. The house is large and beautiful, has lots of character, all apartments we stayed in are elegantly furnished and decorated, all have high quality bed linen and towels, some have views over the charming garden and that one on the top floor has a fantastic panoramic view over the mountains! We loved very much the garden with blooming flowers and orange trees in all seasons (each time something was blossoming!) and the swimming pool in summer. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, really charming people, speak 3-4 languages, always advise us on what to see and where to eat and have one of the best DVD collections I've ever seen! Definitely going to stay in this lovely hotel again! ”

“The whole chateau has been beautifully restored, with clearly no expenses spared. The gardens are gorgeous and the pool is divine, complete with waterfall cascading down. The staff were terrific, nothing was too much trouble, they were always at hand when anything was needed, but completely non-intrusive and respectful-we were made to feel like we in fact owned the place! I would wholeheartedly recommend the Chateau whether for a self-contained relaxing break, or as a base to explore the local area. First class. ”

“We just returned from spending a week at La Tour Apollinaire, where the accommodations far surpassed our expectations. As soon as we drove through the gate, we understood what we’d found: a true oasis of taste, refinement and tranquillity, where all our needs were looked after by a caring staff, and where we could unwind in whatever way we saw fit. We stayed in the Chablis room, which was originally the family chapel – complete with original stained glass window and vaulted ceiling. Our room was truly stunning: elegantly furnished, decorated and lit, with a gorgeous marble bathroom, all very new, yet retaining a wonderful sense of history. We are looking forward to a return visit!”

We have stayed here on several occasions and would highly recommend others to do so! The hotel is peaceful, with beautiful gardens and a clean, inviting pool area. We stayed in individually designed, tasteful and comfortable rooms, all with personal touches which enhanced the stay. Breakfast is delicious, varied and served at the time you require it. The owners are excellent proprietors - they afford a warm welcome and are very friendly to approach if you need anything. We have stayed at other hotels in the area prior to this one but would always choose to stay here above the rest. Looking forward to our next visit! »

“Just spent a couple of days with my husband in the Chateau to see the wonderful photojournalism expositions "Visa Pour l’Image" and absolutely loved the place. We felt like being at home from the very first second we arrived... we had the feeling that the owners and the staff were waiting for us, to explain us how everything worked and the philosophy of the chateau. Also we received great gastronomical advices from the staff. Our room (Champagne) was very beautiful and comfortable. The shower, by Philip Starck, very trendy and gave the room a touch of total modernity. Everything very stylish, and also with the plus of personal attention.”

“ We stayed at the Chateau for a week in July and it was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. We cannot fault the accommodation as well as the surrounding gardens and helpful staff. The apartment we stayed in was extremely well designed and had all modern fittings. We especially loved the rain shower in our bathroom! Our room was beautifully decorated, with many small and unique touches throughout. We also appreciated the must needed luxury of a great air conditioner. We did spend most of our time relaxing by the beautiful pool and enjoying the well kept gardens, even having the pool to ourselves on a few occasions. The town centre is a short walk from the Chateau, but no more than 10 minutes (in heels as well!). There is a vast choice of restaurants covering all different food genres, as well as prices. All in all we had a truly relaxing stay, and will most definitely be returning. A definite must stay for the South of France. ”
